A good teacher should be patient and use positive reinforcement to motivate their students to learn in a comfortable environment. As a teacher, I realize that learning is often a slow and challenging process. Therefore, I make sure that I work with my students on their individual goals, and work at a pace that accommodates their personal abilities. I am passionate about Spanish. Knowledge of Spanish language and culture is a great way to start conversations and learn about people all around the world. I have devoted my academic career to learning and teaching Spanish. I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish language from Arkansas Tech University and a master's degree from New York University in Spanish Education. Before becoming a Spanish teacher, I was an interpreter for hospitals. This job allowed me to learn about Spanish culture as I traveled all around Spain and Mexico. In my travels, I studied many forms of Spanish art, Spanish grammar, and history. I have more than 7 years of experience teaching in various schools and at various levels. I am very excited to give any student that is interested in Spanish language and culture a chance to learn about this beautiful country. My hobbies include playing the guitar and writing poetry.
